It's an easy fix. Your print head is stuck in the "print head clean" position. It sometimes happens when too much goo from cleaning the print head gets stuck in the gears. Find a piece of flat, very thin, strong plastic about 1/2" wide. Should be about 6 to 7 inches long. Slide it under the print head about 3". Keep it as flat as possible and push the plastic towards the back of the printer. You will feel some resistance. That resistance is the head cleaner which slides back a forth in normal printer operation. Push towards the back of the printer until you cannot push any more (about 1/2"). If you don't feel the resistance then you might have to slide the piece of plastic in a little more and try again. Once this is done the carriage should move to the right by hand. Please note: When you do the above, make sure your printer is off and unplugged. Once you are done plug your printer in and open the top. The carriage should move into the "replace print cartridge" position. Use a soft paper wipe and soak up as much of the ink goo as you can. You can also move the cleaner back and forth, by hand, a few times. Good Luck.
