There are no kinks in the hose and water has been drained by valve at bottom of front twice. any ideas?

Is this a new house that has not had a washing machine fitted before ? If so, often the plastic pipe where the waste is fitted has a cover over it in case it is never used. Pull the waste pipe off (under the sink ?) and see if there is a sealed cap where it pushes on. If so, cut it off with a sharp knife ! Tony www.emwelec.co.uk Tel 0115 9652118

are you connecting it under a sink on to a plastic spigot?.If so have you removed the blanking cap or cut the end off the spigot b4 connecting the drain hose to it
