Reducing water pressure in my Ariston Eurocombi boiler?

I have topped up water pressure in the past but now find that the water pressure is above 3 and I need to reduce it.

Can't find the tap to do this, can anyone help?
Is this dangerous?

if you cant find the pressure release valve (which should be automatic, set at manufacturers spec) then find out if your rad pipework is fitted with numerous drain valves. if so then connect a hose to this and let water out a bit at a time checking pressure regulary. another way is to let the water come out of the radiator bleed valve.

hope this helps
