No Hot Water Flow in a Fisher & Paykel washer?

The hot water is connected but does not operate during the fill cycles. What might be the cause?

CK - How can you tell him that when we don't know what model he has and what valve is fitted. If it is a Smartdrive then the early models had a 12volt dc valve with a reading of 15 ohms. The later models had a different valve with a reading of 62 ohms. We don't even know what country he is in and therefore what mains voltage the machine runs on. Paul, either the valve is faulty and you will need a multimeter to test the coil or if valve is ok then the control board is faulty. Putting the model number up here would be a help.

if you have hot water to the machine (disconnect it and hold over a bucket) then you would suspect the inlet valve coil being Open circuit or failed/should be around 4kohms across coil terminals
