do you put any wet towels or coats over it to dry?i think yiou will find its the thermal fuse inside the rad that has either tripped,or melted, common faults.to fix turn power off at the fuse box, remove 3 screws at top of the rad ,some have 3 screws at bottom too, remove the knobs and remove the front cover, top right hand of heater at the thermostsat check to see if there is a melted fuse,it looks like a bit of wire ,if this is not there check to see if there is a round disc with a centre pin, press this in,you should here a clck,if you do,then you have fixed the prob the disc is behind the thermostat at right hand side of the rad, some mods have 2 discs,2 one at the left of hand side of the rad,be sure turn power off before you work on it,ok ?you do know you must leave the rad on all the time?the store rad that is,not the convector
