Smoke from a Bernina 1120 sewing machine?
There was a loud 'pop' followed by smoke. I had the covers off and it looks as though the Class X2 0.1uF capacitor just above the motor has burnt out although the machine still works fine. I believe this is for suppression purposes only so how important is it to replace it?
