how can I get my potterton kingfisher CF 180 to fire up?

how can I get my potterton kingfisher CF 180 to fire up, the pilot light is on and the electric appear ok
Sam Walsh, December 2012
First ensure pilot light is on.(there is a little cover which opens to view this) if not religt it. Turn boiler thermostat to off, wait 3 minutes. Push down knob on gas valve and hold down firmly now press igniter button repeatedly (this is beside thernostat knob) until pilot lights KEEP holding knob down for further 30+ seconds this is to allow thermocouple to get hot enough to send signal to gas valve to stay open Slowly release knob and turn to fire flame symbol. Now set boiler thermostat knob to a number and turn on heating controls hey presto heat! If not then check small header tank in loft has water in it!
