I live in an all electic house with an immersion heater for our hot water. the hot water is running fine out of all the taps in the house aprart from the one in my bedroom which is only dripping out. I have lived hear for over 5 years and it has only just started doing this now. we have had no power cutss, plumbing or any water mains work done. any ideals what i can do to fix this?

okay,isolate water a cold mains near immersion tank.this pipe felt is mega cold.or alternative there shud be isolation valve under the basin.using flat screwdriver turn off until no water drips from hot tap.

remove screw centre of knob.lift and remove.using a wrench and elbow grease unscrew brass nut.remove tap insert.change 1/4 inch washer.replace tap in reverse order.dont rush.

simple fault ,the washer in tap has jammed,just turn water off to house remove top of tap replace the washer
