Our Sharan is causing problems from time to time when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. I thought I should check the transmission fluid seeing how we've owned it for a year, and I never have. However, after removing all the plastic guards on the engine, I see only one fluid check. I'm not sure if it is for the engine oil or the transmission. Where is the check for the transmission? And what kind of transmission fluid do I need to purchase if I need to top it off?
