My Manhattan 30" widescreen tftv will not work?

It was working fine until one day I turned off the electricity mains to do some wiring in the house but when I eventually turned the mains back on again the television will simply not work. There is no standby light or anything to show it has been switched on. I have obviously pressed the power button but to no avail. I have also checked the fuse. Cheers. Patrick

Maybe you disconnected the TV as a precaution. make sure that it's correctly plugged in some power outlet, wall or power bar.

Maybe the power was simply turned off on that circuit. Try connecing a lamp to the wall outlet you use for the TV.
Check the power box and make sure that any breaker or fuse are OK.

If you use a power bar, it's possible that it got turned off, disconnected, or disjuncted.
make sure that the power bar is realy plugged into the wall outlet and turned on.
Check the power bar switch position and status lights. Turn it off then on again. Connect a lamp to the power bar. If the lamp don't light up when the power bar's switch is in the on position, but light up when connected to the wall outlet, then your power bar may be faulty and need to be replaced.
