Innotab Vtech has black spot on screen?

Innotab has a black spot on the screen
The spot is on when I power on device, also with and without cartridge
I called Vtech 800 number, they said power on and off the unit to reset
Now they said send it back for repair

Any fix that anyone has kows of Thanks

Send it back to the compagny or to the place where you bought it to have it repaired or replaced.
