How to fix a Siemens RDH10RF wireless thermostat?

Hello, I have an RDH10RF remote thermostat for my central heating. Since I put new batteries in it doesn't seem to be working properly. It is reading the room temp correctly but is not turning the heating off when the room reaches the desired temperature. I'm not a very technical person so I'm at a bit of a loss what to do.

Thank-you

Recommend as follows:
1. Please replace the battery on the transmitter
2. Do the relearning / re-pair the RF once again and see if it works.

If it does not , please contact Siemens by click Contact:

Hi, I have checked the receiver and the yellow LED stays on when the room reaches temp. I have had this system for over a year and it is only since I changed the batteries that the remote doesn't seem to be working; before this it was fine.

check on the box next to the boiler. there 2 leds on the siemens box connected to the boiler. u need to check the the second one down if it shows yellow then the boiler will keep on. but once the thermostat has reached the desired temp it should have no led on. check if this happens if it does not the timer is not programmed properly or is not communicating check this and let me know and we go from there
