Press push button 1 repeatedly until the first digit of code is displayed, press push button 2 repeatedly until second digit of code is displayed, repeat this for third and fourth digit. when the code is displayed correctly then press button 5 to enter, if code is correct then stereo will operate, if not then a 30 minute count down will be displayed, at the end of which you will be able to try again!
