I have a Toshiba SE-R0340 DVD recorder. It has previously stuck in the Auto Update Search but I have managed to revert to normal by switching off the power a couple of times. It is now stuck in that mode and I cannot get the thing working correctly.
Is there any way the auto updates can be disabled?
