My steamglide Iron model no:17880 bought last Aug in UK but am using it in Spain, no problems till now the handle gets hot and water dripping from it.Have changed the cartridge and descaled with diluted vinegar but still not working.Any answers please....

It will be very difficult to claim your consumer rights at the distance involved - the warranty responsibility rests with the people who took your money.

It was long-ago they stopped making irons repairable - I no longer try - the iron gets wrecked just taking it apart.

I think your best bet is a new one.
