Philips azur model no gc4890 no steam and cant decalc

The iron does not heat up. When switched on the light makes one brief flash and a click is heard. The iron has had light usage and been used solely as a dry iron.

Hi, On a Philips Azur Performer steam iron how do I open it up to replace the power cord? I can see no obvious screws but I assume that there must be some somewhere. Can anyone help? Thanks, Wayne
