How do you know if your machines still have a manufacture warranty?
scott, January 2013
There are different warranty rules in different countries.

Here n the UK the warranty responsibility rests with the vendor - the company who took your money. It does not lie with the manufacturer of the goods with whom you have no contract.

To make a warranty claim you need to show proof or purchase else you might have got the goods second hand from a guy down the road - the vendor has a right to know that it is he who owns the warranty responsibility.

You do not, however, need a receipt - just some way of showing when bought and from whom -a credit card bill would be fine.

EU warranty law extends warranty from one year to two years. Your country may be different.
