It was the batteries. called a guy out to check it
I watched his every move, for future refence this is what he did:
Removed 2 covers under the seat (2 screws either side at the bottom). Removed center piece of plastic.
pressed remote to test, said (I think) LED 2 means batteries too low. (1 was particularly dead) Replaced them both with new, pressed remote & drove chair up to charge points to test it charged.
Replaced covers checked a couple of other things, said somthing about pressure sensitive edges all ok. Paid what I thought was very reasonable €75, left his business card algarveaccessibility.com. All in under 30 mins. A Very Happy Vick!
