a cleaning cd is a waste of time,the brushes do not do the job,we use isoproyl alchol on a cotton bud and very gengtly rub the face of the lazer with it,wjhat happens is if the cd unit is in a smokey enviroment,the lazer lens gets nicotine on it and cant read the disc
be very gentle with the lazer face ,the isopropyl is the same stuff you get on the small pad they use before you get an injection
