Whirlpool 6th Sense stopping early?

My whirlpool 6th Sense 8759B keeps stopping early (12-3 mins variable). Warning sigh (hash in a circle) flashes. Also all the settings times have changed? Filters cleared. Also, it smells chemically/burny. Help.
