boiler loosing pressure?

wife tried to fill boiler via filling loop but left the alve open boiler made loud banging noise
as water discharged from overflow pipe
now boiler will fire up but keeps loosing pressure
any ideas

You have damage pressure relief valve by over fill,replace pressure valve and fill to 1.2 bar,you have to drain system to change
