Have got a lockout problem with my Worcester 28i Junior. Does not like to start if it has not been run for a few hours. If left it will lock (after 5 goes, as per normal). If you switch it off before it locks out it and leave it five minutes if starts staright away. Have had the pressure relief valve replaced, but only difference is I'm £50 poorer. Came across this post on your forum which seems to have help a lot of people out:

It will be the low water pressure switch.

Easy to prove - link it out.

You will see it up on the right hand side of the main heat exchanger, wired in series with the overheat stat (it's the bigger one of the two). Take off the short bit of wire that links the two and keep it safe.. Next take the remaining spade connector OFF the low water pressure switch, and fix it to now-vacant terminal on the overheat stat. Now you've linked out the pressure switch totally.

Try n fire the boiler and it will work - promise.

You must NOT leave this switch disconnected, it is there for a safety reason, but sometimes they can be cleaned out.

Problem is I can't locate the switch? Am I being daft? My boiler is a very earlly one and I know some parts are different. Any help, especially a photo would be very gratefully received.

not all boilers have a pressure switch. i looked on the worcester site and it doesn't show one for the earlier models. the best way and cheapest would be for u to call worcesters technical help line as they will provide over the phone advice and they know there boilers better than anyone.
