My indesit 3 yr old integrated dishwasher is showing the lights are on but is just not starting its cycle? Looking at my manual there doesnt seem to be a delay cycle with it. I keep checking the door is fully shut which it is.... Please help any ideas??? Thanks Emma

The first thing to happen is that water is let in - you can usually hear it. A solenoid valve.

Then a pump starts to sloosh it around - you can hear the slooshing too.

You can open the door to have a look at any time.

If you're not confident about trying to fix it yourself then call in an engineer - Yellow Pages will be useful.
