How to repair boiler air flow sensor?

The Air flow sensor on my Potterton combi boiler has packed in, Potterton do not supply this part anymore, can this part be repaired. It appears to be a spring like coil and a sensor accross it. It is a two wire system into the electronic controller, the coil heats up and the air flow cools it down. Apparently it should measure 1.80 ohms but it is measuring just over 2.00 ohms. The boiler comes on then goes off about 10 minutes later.

The extra 0.2 Ohms is probably caused by the wires of the test meter you are measuring it with.

It's probably something else.
