i have over filled my valiant boiler with water what should i do?

Hi, I have a valliant boiler that keeps losing pressure. Tonight I intended to top it up but I forgot about it after leaving the top up valve open. It is now over full. Is there a way of emptying some of the water? I have turned the boiler off meanwhile!

Thanks for the advice, I have drained the excess water and my boiler is restored to its equilibrium!

find the drain off point on the radiator pipework (lowest point) and put a hose on it and drain excess pressure off the system.you can also use the rad air bleeds but could take time depending on over pressure in system
