Why doesn't my Beco WM 6355W wasing machine drain?

It gets to the point where the drum turns making a noise like maybe a belt loose or pump faulty but water not draining.

Rectified it myself in less than an hour. This model has not got a proper filter but what it has got was obstructed by a small plastic bag and probably paper tissues mashed together.

remove the bottom plinth.behind there is a filter.undo the filter cap and pull it out.water will pour out.once filter removed shine a torch in to the filter housing and check to see if something is jammed in the drain pump impeller.the impeller should flick around freely.if that is ok check for blocked drain hose/sink waste
