inlet valve on my macdee duo compact pneu compact
6ltr cistern keeps leaking. i have cleaned washers but made no differance, also makes noise when water is turned back on please advise.

Treat yourself to a Torbeck valve.
They're quiet, dependable , side or bottom entry and cheap as chips. I've been using them for 30+ years. No noise, no water hammer-no problem. Just Google it
