i have a flame rite electric fire model solar flare?

i have tried the suggestion from a previous question to check the remote control but the fire still flashes the previous question then said i might need a new circuit board(recevier) in the fire.

I have a similar problem with a Flamerite Odyssey. I have ordered a new Control PCB and will let you know if it solves the problem. It cannot be the Remote as this only acts as a switch.
