Recently my boiler is failing to deliver hot water. - It is hot at first then runs cold. On examination I find the boiler is flashing red and shows the error report 'f19.' My manual says this is because ... "NTC not connected to central heating pipe." ... If I switch off then re-start the boiler it works fine but after a few days the problem reappears. - The fault is obviously intermittent.

i. What does NTC mean?
ii. Any suggestions ?
