I can't seem to reset the printer for a CMS 487 royal cash register. ?

I have system cleared this several times, but it will not print. If I try to advance printer tape I receive the EP error, or anytime the tape needs to advance.

If you are using the correct paper width then it sounds like you have a printer fault.
