How do I re-set my hotpoint WD420 washer? It is stuck on spin cycle?

My Hotpoint WD420 is stuck on spin cycle with the spin light on but will not spin. I have tried the Beko reset method but dosn't work. Is there another reset method to employ for these washers? I have recently renewed the brushes, cleaned out pump and checked the belt.

it has been a while since I last posted

to reset it:

first turn off at wall and wait for 2 minutes
open the door and close it 1 time per second for 6 secs
remove laundry then start cycle C with no detergent and no laundry after the wash it can be stopped
try FAST SPIN cycle
