I assume this is the gathering pin of the rack system on the strike side of the movement. The cam has to be removed with a gear puller and then a new pine (tapered) installed from the back of the cam. The cam is then pressed back on the shaft. Do not secure it on the shaft until all adjustments are made. You have to allow for warning run as well as locking.
