My dishwasher has stopped heating the water, it completes all programme cycles but the water remains cold ? How do you check whether it is simply the heating element thats gone or whether it is a controls issue ?

check the element with a multimeter.should be around 29 ohms area.if it is element is good.also check the heater relay solder joints on the main pcb.this means removing it from the control panel and undoing the plastic case to check.even if joints look good resolder them all
