Chuck area fails to rotate?

My JCB drill is perfect other than the Drill fails to rotate from the 'Chuck' area. It feels that the cogs are failing to engage to the motorised area of the main drill.
Any solutions or people in the Birmingham/Worcestershire area who may be in a position to repair please?
