We have same problem but if you wait for lock indicator to go out then turn the programme selector to '0' (at the top) and wait a minute or so you may be able to open the door - ours does.

I had this problem with the same model last night. I tried spinning and draining the machine to no avail. Putting it on a "rapid 29'" wash seemed to do the trick for me. The red lock LED was still lit at the end of the wash but it let me open the door.
