I have asked this question I have a Potterton Netaheat 10/16 gas central heating boiler.Why it takes few ignitions(between 3 to 10) before it start firing,although the fan and the pilot is on all this time.I already instaled new pump and electronic control.

i had a netheat 10/16 at my place. but just got it replaced now, as its over 23 years old and was constantly falling over, and I cant find any spares for it.
Finally got a new potterton suprima 60 HE in its palce. around £ 1450 to buy and install.
