having a problem with pressure loss on a Halstead combi boiler
had to let in water to take pressure up from 0 to 2.5bar.
When I switched the water off pressure continued to raise to
4bar, now overflow is pouring out but pressure not dropping.
Please help all you experts !

sounds like the valve that tops the system is bypassing!, try turning the water off at the stopcock for the house and see if the pressurre stops rising!
