Baxi Solo 50/4 Wall Mounted PF Burner Shutdown Problem?
My Baxi Solo 50/4 Wall Mounted PF gas fired central heating boiler ignites when the thermostat calls for heat, stays alight between 30 minutes and an hour, then the burner goes out and reignites. The pilot light remains on all the time while the burner clicks on and off, lighting and going off every 5 seconds. I've changed both the PCB and the Gas Valve, and I've just given the Combustion Box and the Burner, Injector and the Pilot an annual service, (wire brush and inspection). All seem to be in fine working order. Both hot water and heating radiators are supplied and work perfectly whilst the boiler is running. The pilot light goes out after approximately 10 minutes of switching the burner on and off following 1 hour of perfect operation of the boiler. This can't be an overheat thermostat problem, as surely it would have cut out before an hour of perfect operation of the boiler. Any suggestions on how to solve this burner cutting out problem?
