You may have put them back in the right place but can you be certain that (a) the new switch is not defective - or - (b) the wires are making contact.
It may always be another coincidental fault but I would put money on your repair activity being the cause - check and double check your work - test the switch with a meter. Is there an interlock that prevents operation when the covers are off for instance? Might you have disturbed a connector on the motor or pressure switch?
