Citreon Berlingo 51 plate Oil in water issue?

Had the problem for 7 months- 4 mechanics cant identify issue. Had new oil cooler, bypassed it and oil cooler is not faulty but still getting oil in my water. No other signs of head gasket gone, drives beautiful. Its been flushed too many times but never taken to bits and cleaned properly however I am loosing oil every month (about 1/2 litre) so it definitely seems to be getting in although each mechanic said it does not look like head has gone. WHAT CAN I DO? seems like this has been a issue for many just have no idea how to keep oil out- recently put coolant sealer in her in case a seal is cracked or something but dont think this will actually 'solve' my issue.

Thanks for taking the time to reply CDC.. got an old school mechanic on it and suggests new gasket and skimming head but worries my problem could remain- he says the only way to be sure would be to get another engine :/ which is also risky business. So you suggest testing the head? As he does say the crack could be inside the head which cant be identified... so by testing it would we know this?

If as you say your oil cooler is ok then it looks like your head will have to come off, while it is off it would be false economy not to get the head pressure tested and checked for warping, either that or a second hand head from a scrappy with a head gasket set, good luck
