bosch exxcel dryer keeps blowing the outlets?

bosch exxcel dryer keeps blowing the outlets - first the wall socket then the extension cord - plug got very hot

It is difficult to know exactly what you mean by the expression "blowing the outlets."

If an equipment plug gets hot then there's a problem with the plug itself - a loose or high-resistance connection. In the UK a dryer might take as much as 10A of current - if a connection in a plug had a resistance of - say - 5 Ohms then the plug would act as a 250 Watt heater. Similarly a bad connection in a socket.

Begin by fitting a new plug - try not to run the dryer on an extension lead - if you must then use a chunky - heavy-duty lead with three wires.
