The door on our washing machine doesn't want to open even after several cycles??!! Please help

You need a new door interlock. But first you have to open the door, with the power off push the door tightly shut to take the pressure off the door striker, then give the front panel a bang near the door lock this sometimes releases the lock. If not reach down inside the machine and try to flip the door catch, if all fails you will have to break the doorlock from inside. Cheers
