how can I fix my fisher and paykel smart drive 501?

There's no power,it just wont turn on.Could it be a fuse,if so where is this located?
Richard Read, July 2013
There is a fuse inside the control module but they don't normally blow on this model for no reason. It is a water cooled module and the aluminium heatsink that the water flows through corrode allowing water to seep out onto the electrics. 99% of the time if the fuse has gone then the board will have to be replaced. Hardly worth it now on this model which is 20 years old. Control modules for this model are expensive & will have to be installed by a registered service person or F&P will not give you any warranty if you install it yourself.
