I was in the middle of sewing a blanket and my machine stopped. I figured out that the wheel was two tight. I loosened that but now the needle will not go up and down. The machine is on and the motor is trying to make it work. The wheel goes around when you put your foot on the peddle but the needle will not move. Can you help?

sorry to double post but you losend the handwheal? maybe its just slipping then again the belt could of broke check both

sounds to me that the belt leading from the motor to the hand wheal could be broken
