Hoover Soft wave washer dryer 1100 doesn't dry?

The washing machine no longer dries the clothes. Everything seems like it is working, drum goes round etc, but the clothes don't get dry. The clothes are cold and damp even after a long session.

How do I fix this?

An update on this problem.

What had happened was that a wire connecting to the fan, which circulates the air when tumble drying, had come loose. This meant that the air didn't circulate and the element overheated. The 2 Thermal Overload Cutout (TOC) devices did their job and stopped the power getting to the element. All that it needed was 2 new TOCs and the wire to be reconnected.

Thanks Phil

I have got a new element ordered now and the old one out of the machine ready to swap over.

hi andrew the most common thing to go is the dryer heating element on these its under the lid inside the top housing they are quite cheap and quite easy to fit anymore questions msdapudsey1@msn.com
