The turn table has stopped on my Panasonic Microwave Model NN-A725M?
How do I fix the turn table as it has stopped moving, I have checked that there is no dirt to stop it moving and the part that turns the glass plate still feels that it is connected to something
to let you understand Janice the motor goes open circuit but because of the large gear, you feel resistance (no belt )no micro wave uses a belt to drive the turn table

there is no belt, the turn table is direct driven by the motor via a gear, most units can be accessed by removing a plate from under the oven, others you have to gain access inside ,I do not recommend you to try to fix it yourself

Underneath there will be a belt driven by a motor - very probably either the motor has failed or the belt has broken.
For safety reasons users are not encourages to mess around inside microwaves the expectation being that a trained specialist will attend to it.
If you do decide to ignore convention and have a go yourself then take great care - lethal voltages lurk inside even with the power cord pulled out!
