it just stops and even switching off and then resetting to the spin program will not release it eventually it drains.

I have tried to remove the filter at the bottom RHC I have opened the flap and unscrewed the filter but it s not coming out I have tried pulling turning slowly in case there in a release thingy but no luck I am sure it has debris blocking it but cannot get to it. any suggestions?
