The pin holding the door on our Hotpoint machine has snapped. Is it possible to remove the door and replace this? I have tried unscrewing the back panel of the door but it will not budge and I don't want to force it in case something snaps! Can I obtain a spare pin from anywhere?

barry if its the hook that locks the door in place then yes,the door splits down the middle to let you change it undo all screws the prise
