Why do I have horizontal white lines going across my tv screen, and how do ?

I have a Samsung 32" CRT HDTV. It is pretty new, and I bought it new. On non HD content, I have faded white lines that cover my whole screen. Does anyone know what causes this? And how do I fix it? I have a cable box, a Wii, an Xbox 360, a home theatre system, and a compnent switcher hooked into it. Again, its only on non HD content.

Hi
If the lines are fairly static thin white lines & the pix is a bit overbright, this is a fault condition.
Either Line transformer screen assy or a CRT Drive problem
(My guess without seening the fault ) , contact Samsung service if under warranty or take it to your favourite repairer.
This is a website of a technician service http://1stresponseelectronics.com/ , you can get more details for the solution and know the repair price.
