Every time I turn on my TV it says that I need to carry out 1st time installation. I go ahead and scan all channels, but will not show any info on EPG about any channel. Then once I have turned it off and back on again, low and behold.. 1st time installation. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how to fix it? Luxor TV 40" which is JUST out of its years warranty

i tried i put the plug in then i took it out and the tv wasn`t working so i put back in but it still didn`t work i think i should never use it again and only use my phone tablet and laptop

Yes I am actually tuning in the DTV, all the digital channels come up but no EPG for them at all.

Might it be that you're tuning analog channels (they no longer exist) rather than digital. Check the input / source selection is set to DTV.
